25th September 1915: Henri in the middle of the fights of the 2nd Battle of Artois

The "great operations" were not long to come, and the 25th September offensive gave the kick-off to the 2nd Battle of Artois: the 90th Infantry Regiment took an active part to it:
" [...] on the 25 September, Loos fell down and was taken by the British, after a striking attack and a terrible tussle [...]
...[On the 10th] during one whole hour of liberty, I could operate my Kodak, so I got some views on ruined Loos: I will keep them as a nice souvenir. Our deads of the 9th May were avenged on the 8th and on the 9th October [...]".
